Assassin’s Creed Rift is said to be the title of an upcoming Ubisoft game that has been delayed indefinitely.
A smaller undisclosed premium game” from Ubisoft has been postponed, although the game’s title has yet to be revealed.
According to a reliable source, a new Assassin’s Creed game codenamed Rift has been disclosed.
“Assassin’s Creed Rift was delayed to May/June.”
Assassin’s Creed Rift was pushed back from February to May or June, according to a Bloomberg report, due to a lack of progress.
Assassin’s Creed: Rift was originally a 2020 add-on for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, but it was altered to a stand-alone game in late 2021.
Even though nothing is known about the game, reports claim it’s based in the Middle East and that it focuses on stealth gaming.
As Bloomberg has pointed out, rift’s delayed release leaves Ubisoft with a very slim fiscal year.
Ubisoft’s release schedule changed this week, but that’s not all. Thursday’s business statement canceled four titles, including Ghost Recon Frontline.
Ubisoft’s The Division has been delayed due to Ebola and political upheaval. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s release date is 2023.
