Two different English dubs of “Vinland Saga” have been released in anticipation of Season 2.

Both subtitled versions are presently accessible online.

The second season of the historical anime Vinland Saga will begin airing in January of next year, and fans have been counting down the days.

Season 1 of the show, which consisted of 24 episodes, premiered in 2019.

There was some doubt as to whether or not Season 2 would ever be made. But now fans know it’s on the way, and while they wait, there’s news for those who want to revisit the thrilling first season of this epic saga.

It appears that Wit Studio’s TV adaption has been dubbed twice.

Thorfinn, the protagonist of Makoto Yukimura’s novel, is the son of the legendary but now-retired Viking leader Thors. After Thors is murdered, Thorfinn is driven to seek justice.

The young Viking seeks revenge for the death of his father by joining the mercenary group led by his father’s killer, Askeladd.

This is a coming-of-age tale of introspection and growth, though, and not just a revenge plot. From what we can gather from the teaser trailer published in June, Season 2 will take the tale in a very different route from Season 1, which may be thought of as the prologue.

Sentai Filmworks in Houston and Voice & Script International in Los Angeles did the English dubs (VSI). Each edition has its own English voice cast. A fan account on Twitter published a video highlighting the variations, which you can view here.
